Wonderpup Does it Again!!!
Schatzi
has completed her highly successful year in trialing by obtaining her
Herding Test (HT) title in October 2007. To complete the HT the dog
must show controlled movement of stock with two changes of direction
and the ability to be sent to the stock then called off them at the
end. The dog must obtain two
passes under two different judges to obtain the title.
Schatzi achieved this title in impressive form. Both judges she worked
under were very impressed with her ability to work the sheep. Both days
she was awarded the judges plaque for the Most Promising in Class.
To complete a fantastic weekend, Schatzi and Rachel were awarded the
club’s Perpetual Trophy for the Best Overall Dog and Handler throughout
the trial.

Schatzi
has continued her successful year in 2007 by completing her Endurance
Test (ET) on Sunday the 15th of July. Despite an upset tummy
Schatzi still rallied to do herself and the white shepherd breed proud
by completing the test and becoming Schatzi JD ET HIC!!!!
The ET is a 20km test where the
handler can ride a bike or jog and the dog gaits. It is broken down
into 3 stages, 8km, 6km, 6km. It is done at an average of 10km/hr. The
dog is checked by a vet before each stage and at the end of the test to
ensure they are coping physically with the strain. They do an obedience
test at the start and again at the end to ensure that the dog can still
work effectively after the physical strain.
Well done Schatzi!!!!!!!!!

got her first pass on the 12th of May 2007. She followed this up with a
clear round and 2nd place on the 19th of May and a clear round and 1st
place on the 20th May. For her final run and her title, Schatzi was the

Schatzi obtained her Herding Instinct
